This two-day event combines the essence of a high-powered music festival with the charm of a southern craft vendor's weekend. Jasper, a flourishing foodie community, provides the perfect backdrop for this festival with its craft breweries, local restaurants & boutiques, and delightful food vendors. Join us for a fabulous weekend getaway filled with music, crafts, and delectable eats!
Nestled at the base of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northwest Alabama, Jasper is a vibrant community that beautifully blends traditional values with a forward-thinking vision. Festival weekend, starting on Friday evening, September 13th at 6:30pm and culminating with the final acts also starting at 6:30PM on Saturday evening, September 14th. The stage will showcase a diverse range of musical genres, promising something for everyone to enjoy. Thanks to the generous support of the local city leadership and corporate partnerships, this event is completely free for all attendees. What is The Foothills Festival?
The Foothills Festival celebrates this charming community each September with a two-day event filled with music, food, and vendors hosted in rejuvenated Downtown Jasper. It’s a mix of hardworking people and southern cultural treasures with a dash of historical significance and beauty thrown on top.
When is the performance schedule released?
The performance schedule will be released as soon as all artists are signed and the program is set. This usually begins to take shape in the spring with the artists and sets finalized by July.

How much do tickets cost?
This is a free music concert presented by the Jasper Area Entertainment and our corporate partners.
How do I get to the Courthouse Square?
The Courthouse Square is 2 miles north of I-22 on exit 63 towards Jasper. Continue north on Hwy 269 and turn right onto 20th Street at the light.
What should I bring to The Foothills Festival?

Is The Foothills Festival accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes! ADA accessible restrooms are available, as well as designated handicap parking areas. Downtown Jasper has a new landscape complete with ADA-compliant sidewalks throughout the Foothills footprint also.
Are there ATMs available if I run low on cash?
ATMs can be found at Pinnacle Bank off of the square or at Synovus on 18th Street and 3rd Avenue, one block north of the activities. Both are Foothills Partners.
Will you have merchandise for sale?
You can purchase Foothills merchandise from the event partner prior to the event and on the square during the festival. Information regarding pre-event opportunities will be coming. Check back!
How can I apply for a food booth?
Food Vendor Applications are no longer being accepted.

Where should I park?
Public Parking is available on 20th Street and 1st Avenue, 20th Street and 4th Avenue, and there is ample parking/parking lots on 18th St. Handicap parking is available at the corner of 20th Street and 3rd Avenue.
